If all your resources are being used, you may have to allocate resources away from less efficient enterprises and toward more efficient ones in order to increase ranch profit. In other words, expand better enterprises and shrink or eliminate worse enterprises.

Your Ranch Vision Enterprise Efficiency Report helps you do this. This report allows you to identify the efficiency of each grazing enterprise on your ranch. You can then use the Scenario feature to adjust the size of an enterprise by making appropriate changes to purchases, sales, % retained for stockers, % retained for breeding replacements, cull percentages, etc. This will allow you to preview how you’ll impact ranch profit if you expand more efficient enterprises and shrink or eliminate less efficient enterprises (see Expand or Contract Enterprises).
